This is an early pilot. Its records were gathered with AI help from cited sources and are still being checked, so don’t rely on them yet, and tell us if something is wrong.
We’re looking for people and organisations to build it with us: historians, archivists, translators, designers, developers, and partners who can support the work.
Hebron’s traditional dish, named for the pot it is cooked in: chicken or lamb with rice, garlic, broth and chickpeas, seasoned with turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon and allspice, cooked for three hours in a brass pot in a wood oven, and served with yoghurt or salad under parsley and fried almonds or pine nuts.
